New online database for older people launched
Age Concern Sheffield are pleased to announce the launch of a new service aimed at providing up to date information about services for the over 50’s in Sheffield, from voluntary, community and faith sector organisations.
www.oldersheffield.org.uk holds information about hundreds of local services, clubs, activities, courses, advice centres, practical help and much more. And it won’t just tell you what’s there, but whether there’s a waiting list and how to access the service.
Anyone can access the site and we would like to encourage all local advice centres, GPs and other services that provide information to older people to use it in their own work to help them to effectively signpost older people on to the services they need.
Please contact us on 0114 2537691 if you would like further information. 16/04/2007
