Service: Day Services (minimum commitment required is 1 day per week, Monday to Friday.)

Role Summary: We run a number of activity/interest groups at different venues around the city that vary in the requirement level for physical activity. We also provide day trips to locations within Sheffield and surrounding areas. Volunteers will accompany staff and other volunteers on trips and at group activities to support older people to enjoy the activities.

Service: Advocacy Service (minimum commitment required is half a day a week. Daytime hours.)

Role Summary: The service is for older people with serious and enduring mental health problems, older people with dementia and older people with learning disabilities. Advocates will support clients to represent themselves and will empower them by enabling them to have their wishes and views heard.
